A little background: Born in Nebraska to a part-German, part-Italian family I quickly developed a love for baking, a passion for cooking and a dislike for doing dishes. At a young age I moved with my family to Virginia where I fell in love with the ocean, got involved with any and all athletics, and got my first taste of the joys that traveling brings. Before middle school we packed up our bags again and moved to Minnesota. I attended the University of St. Thomas and graduated in May 2008 with a major in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish. While at St. Thomas I was fortunate enough to spend a semester in Spain where I traveled around Europe, worked on my Spanish and even took salsa dancing lessons.
I enjoy doing crafts (mainly things found on Pinterest), reading, traveling and learning. I’m a runner and have finished four marathons and numerous shorter distances. I’ve ran for the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society and have participated in two 3-Day 60 Mile Walks for Breast Cancer. I have a strong passion for helping to find a cure for cancer and ending it forever. My friends and family mean everything to me. I’m looking forward to sharing with you!
